If i use the absolute positioning example and position to "vertical -10" then to "vertical
10" then back again "vertical -10" it doesn't point in the same direction. Left/right is the same. The camera picture
"creeps" around. Is this my camera, or do others see this also ?

I had similar probs with v0.8.5, now even more apparent with v0.8.8/0.8.9.

Single movements of left/right/up/down seem ok, but when using absolute positioning I don't seem to be able to utilise the full field of view:
   pos: -31,0    doesn't equal    left-1, left-1 ... x 31

<edit> Strangely I've also just noticed that:
   left-1, left-1 ... x 10    doesn't equal    left-10

The camera does not react on positioning if the delay between 2 steps is too small.

Originally I had the delay at 180ms, increased it to 200ms.

Maybe your setting requires an increased delay.

I will make this configurable.

Adam, what system are you using?

Processor, Memory, USB 1.1 or 2.0

all there influence the required delay between 2 steps

Thanks for the introduction of the configurable step delay - this has now ensured that:
   Left-10  =  Left-1, Left-1 x 10

But I'm still having probs with the absolute positioning - its still not moving the full field of view, no matter how much of a delay I have?

If I try to go to: pos--32,-1 (from home), it only seems to go down 1 and then left 16 ???

If I try to go to: pos--32,-1 (from home), it only seems to go down 1 and then left 16 ???

I just tested - this works on both of my setups - can anybody else test please?

Adam, does the horizontal value read -16 on the device page after pos--32,-1 ?

btw: In the default setting, -32 is out of bounds and would only move to -31

The positions read -32, -1

(and I realise that 32 would normally be out-of-bounds, but I have added 1 to the left/right in the config)

NOTE - It's not just horizontal movement thats not working properly for me:
pos-0,-11  only moves the cam down 5
          &
pos-0,--11  strangely resets the cam to home???
in fact - I can't seem to do any up movement with the pos command, pos-1,--11 justs move right 1.

The abs pos applet allows me to move the cam up/down/left/right, but only about half the distance it should be able to go (and as the position reads the max, you cant use left-1, etc to move further).

I have just tested your configuration.

It worked fine for me both with IE and Firefox.

I have tested your interface as well as the direct commands you mentioned above.

pos-0,--11 strangely resets the cam to home???

could it be that your browser is not accessing LogiSphere but showing you cached pages
ignoring everything after the , Huh?

What browser are you using?
Try setting the browse to request every page instead of using cached values

Set your cam to be 'Listed' so others can test and let us know if it works for them as it works for me.
