HI Folks,can anyone help... I want to use AbelCam as a security-motion cam, mainly over night,about 8 hours do I need a pro licence for this as it will be for my private use only but I still want to capture the images, the images are great even at night with my IR cam, but I don't want to be timed out
any help would be much appreciated. thanks...tony.

Here's a page with info on the different kinds of licenses:

To answer your question, a Pro license is needed to eliminate the 6-hour timeouts. Does not matter if your cam is public or private.
Also, if you are using Motion Detection you should use Ver. 3.0.1. You can get it by going to Members Only and then from there go to Issues. 3.0.1 has enhanced motion detection for use at night. You might not need it with an IR cam but still it would be good to have it to experiment with. |

Hello MelvinG, thanks for your reply...that does answer my question, I am pleased with AbelCam and the detection with Ver 3.0.1 is good infact a bit to good LOL, the pics from my IR cam at night are also good and I'm well pleased with the set up!!!
