I can't answer that except to say there are a lot of idiots on the Internet. I get a lot of them too. I get 2 main varieties: the ones that like to flash my lights as fast as they can, and the ones who use the Nixie tubes to either call me names or make threats.

Then there was the guy(?) who would get on the Nixies every day at 4:20 and post the word "penis".

Typically when somebody goes too far with being "funny" I just black-hole their IP at the router. More fun - but more work - is to "escalate" by modifying the Nixie posting script to recognize their IP and change everything they try to post
