Swann has become a "big name" in security cams in the U.S. market. It seems like their stuff is sold everywhere. The vast majority of Swann cams are analog, so in order to be useful you need to plug them into a TV/Capture card (bought separately) in your PC. That's not a real big problem, but the cost of the capture card adds at least $50 to the cost of what was originally a cheap cam!
So yesterday I bought a Swann SW233-ADW kit. That's one ADW-300 camera bundled with an ADW receiver. It wasn't super cheap, but after all it has a decent built-in IR illuminator, has a housing for outdoor use, and is wireless (not WIFI [IP], but wireless between cam and receiver).

It works fine with my analog TV/Capture card, using the regular A/V Out connector on the receiver. But the surprise was that there's also a USB connector on the receiver and a driver disk in the box. This isn't really mentioned on the product webpage or even on the box.
I tried hooking up the USB connection and installing the drivers. No problems at all. It works "out of the box" with AbelCam and, to my surprise, is very easy on the CPU.
The only real downside I see is that the wireless range is not so good. They say it goes 50 meters, and maybe it does outside on flat ground, but in the real world of going through walls and stuff it's more like 25 meters.
Edited later to add: I just discovered another bit of downside. This camera's radio signal interferes with (jams) my X10 mobile remote controls. Not the X10 powerline stuff - just the parts that use RF (hand-held remotes, key-tag remotes). Feh.
