I use a Logitech Orbit AF webcam.
What I wanted for my rear camera is the ability to use face tracking (the camera is on my rear porch), but to go back to a specific area (looking at my barn doors) after a minute or so.
It seems once you select to use facial tracking tracking via the logitech driver, there is no more PTZ or preset position in AbelCam. I am using the latest Logitech drivers and version 4.0 of AbelCam.
It seems to me that the drivers are the issue.

I changed this to be a thread on its own because the thread title 'No PTZ' does not match your problem.
Before you enabled face tracking, PTZ worked.
Once you enable face tracking in the logitech driver, there is no way for AbelCam to control PTZ because the driver takes over completely.
You can either use face tracking or PTZ in AbelCam, not both.

Try using the Follow Motion checkbox in AbelCam PTZ config for behaviour that is similar (admittedly not identical) to Face Tracking.
