FTP Problem
By: DavidB Rank: Newbie Topics: 0 From: n/a	Added: 11/23/2006 - 06:12 PM When I try to FTP a picture file to my Web Space on my Orange ISP, I get the following message. 17:10:29 FTP Upload to uploads.webspace.freeserve.net as myname.freeserve.co.uk on port 21 failed, Error Malformed PASV reply: 227 Passive mode OK (195,92,193,56,142,170 ) I am using version 2.04 Any ideas?

The FTP server you're using is not implemented correctly according to the RFC... However, I changed my code accept 227 as a valid answer, this will be implemented in Version 2.0.5 (no release date yet).

I await version 2.0.5 At present I am using SmartFTP version 2.0 to do scheduled uploads to the Web Site. It is now doing it OK, but was quite messy to set up; to many settings to get right. Thanks for great piece of software.
