This maybe considered a goofy question. I would like to disable my name being listed in windows media player information bar. Any thoughts???

Not goofy. I was kind of distressed to see my full PayPal name in the Media Player too. It looks like it's getting the name from the dialog where yuo enter the license info, and IIRC I had to put in my full name in order to have it accept the license key. But after the Key was accepted I was able to change the Name field to a more acceptable net nickname, without breaking the license. I believe the one catch was that the nickname had to have a space in it.
Caveat: this is my own totally unofficial work-around. I only used it that way for a few days and then decided I liked the Java streams better than the WMV for my purposes. So, there may be consequences that I didn't run in to (perhaps when upgrading or getting your cam listed?).

I thought I tried a nickname but when I restarted logisphere, it claimed it was unliscened. I'll test it once more. Thanks for the reply!!!! Mark,
I just now tried entering a nickname on my LogiSphere installation and it worked - didn't break my license or anything. So apparently my 'hack' still works. However, I'm still going to post a feature request on the Issue Tracker to see if in a future version we can have a switch to hide our names completely.

Mark, if you are still following this thread you might want to look at Ticket 142 in the Issue Tracker. A much cleaner solution than my 'hack' is going to be included in the next release (coming out any time now).

Hi Melvin,
Thanks for posting this as a feature request. The program prompts me to input a valid first and last name upon boot up but seems to work properly. Thanks again for your help!!!!

BTW - Shortly after I made that last post, SSE posted a new LogiSphere build on the Issue Tracker. Since you are registered to post on this board, you should also be able to download the newest build. It's on Ticket 143 *LINK*. There's a new data field on the Video Server config dialog called WMV Author - you can put in any name or (I guess) leave it blank. I've had this new build running on my server for 12 hours or so now and it looks to be fine.
The only "price" for getting the newest builds off the Issue Tracker is that if you find a bug you gotta post about it
