Cam QuickCam Orbit/Sphere MP-1 many errors while frame capturing...

Hello All,
My MP-1 is detected, and the ptz works fine. But after it starts grabbing frames in the config window, I get the above message. It works perfectly with the logitech software and also with my own DS test program.
The debug log says:
14:33:11 OpenPreviewWindow com error Preview failed Error Code -2146827255 using Renderer vcxVMR9
14:33:11 Strange: cam QuickCam Orbit/Sphere MP-1 reports not active but is connected
14:33:11 splash status set configure codecs
14:33:11 splash status QuickCam Orbit/Sphere MP-1 configure codecs
14:33:11 splash stat
That error code is 0x800a0409 which is a vb compile error, not a COM error I would expect.
Anyway, after that abelcam freezes with that last unfinished line ...
Any suggestions?

Which version of Logitech Quickcam drivers do you have installed 11.5, 11.7?

Hi, just back from holiday, thanks for the reply.
It's the 11.5.0.1145 from 11-10-2007. Checked the logitech website but couldn't find a 11.7. Further googling on 11.7 led to a post saying that 11.7 was withdrawn from their website?

Maybe this helps: when I start AbelCam with the SysInternals DebugView running, it shows these strange messages (apart from some other that are common for ds apps):

Not much I can contribute on this one - I think SSE is the only one who can explain what the debug messages really mean.
I seriously doubt the [312] messages are related to AbelCam licensing.
I doubt there's a driver problem. I've used both 11.5 (from website) and 11.7 (from a CD that came with an Orbit AF) on my setup extensively. Both drivers are buggy, but not in ways that prevent them from working properly with AbelCam. The bugs are related to RightLight and the AF's autofocus. As far as basic operation with AbelCam, either/both driver version works fine here for as long as I care to leave it running - sometimes for weeks non-stop.
