Running two cameras on separate pc's

Is there a way to use a second camera that is on another pc (wired) on my network? I don't see how this is possible myself, but thought someone else would have a quick definitive answer for me. Smile I looked around (can't get search to work) & tried to find an answer before posting, so apologize if this has been addressed before.

I guess if need be, I can buy a wireless cam or another copy of AbelCam to run off the other pc and try to integrate them on the home page by editing the code.

Thanks!

What I do is run an Agent on my "other" PC. I set the Agent up to use a "Local" device - in my case a Sony FireWire camera. Then, on the AbelCam server PC I just do "Add Agent" and enter the IP and port of the "other" PC. If all you want is the videostream this will work fine and you only need to get an Agent, not a second full AbelCam. But if your second cam has Pan/Tilt and you want to use it, then you need a second AbelCam.

Agent is basically AbelCam Lite. Costs less, does basic video capture and serving, but not the more advanced stuff like pan/tilt, motion detection, etc.

Perfection, I don't need PTZ, just streaming. Thanks so much! Smile
