I recently uploaded to the new 3.0 version since the software said I had to. At times upon reboot the camera will not return to stored postion and in fact attempt to turn the orbit cam too far making a load clicking noise. My remote system reboots every day at 9 am and noticed this morning looking a different way, I also noticed it in action when I first load the new software. This did not happen with the older version.

Hello Lance
when using the Logitech controls - does the camera 'home' correctly?
AbelCam uses (by default) the drivers homing function, so the two should behave the same way.
I have an older Orbit which behaves just as you describe - making a weird clicking sound on one end.
You may edit the cams ptz.xml file and change
<AlternativeHoming>false</AlternativeHoming>
to
<AlternativeHoming>true</AlternativeHoming>
this will change AbelCams 'homing' and not use the drivers homing function
but use an internal function.
Let me know if that helps

Thanks. I will try that next time I am at the cabin. The next day when the computer rebooted it appeared to be reset to home and not to the side. Thanks.
