I have a camera which is a license plate capture camera and is recording at 30 fps. on motion. In order to be certain that the LP is recorded the camera catches 3 seconds prior to and 1 second after the motion begins. I would like to to run this .avi file through Ablecam and have a .jpg image only of frames which have motion. I have tried to accomplish this with Abelcam but cannot get sequential images when there is motion. Does this software have that capability?
Thanks for your help!
Ben

No, you can't use an AVI file as image source in AbelCam.

I am playing the .avi file with manycam - a virtual web camera. Abelcam recoginizes manycam and the file plays through the viewer. Frames are saved but few of the frames with motion are saved. The manycamy is playing the .avi file at 30 fps. Abelcam does not seem to be able to grab the frames with motion. Can it accomplish this?
Thanks!!
Ben
