When I upgraded AbelCam it had a larger resolution than it said in the configuation, I could not change it to what I wanted since AbelCam claimed it was already at that resolution, so I used windows system restore to see if I could return to the old setting. Now AbelCam won't start. I just get a busy cursor. It also deleted the modified index.html file I created. It's lost. What can I do to get AbelCam to work again?

reinstalling AbelCam won't change the configuration.
The best way to resolve camera configuration problems is to rename the cameras configuration folder to something else and reconfigure the camera from scratch.
The resolution is stored in cam.xml. Once you have resolved this problem, you can copy other configuration information ( ftp, local save, caption ) back into the new camera configuration folder by copying those xml files.
AbelCams configuration folder is located in "%programdata%\Seiz System Engineering\AbelCam"
