Hello, I have this camera : Peabird PEAB-CAM-IP-002
it's manufactured by VILAR (i think), another reference is VS-IPC1002 IP
and another reference : IPCamera_VS-IPC10B2 in the software status integrated to the camera...
Hostname : Vilar
Service provider : vipcam.cn
She is not working with Abelcam.
It's an Ethernet cable Cam, with an integrated small linux server under BOA.
How can i do to make it work with Abelcam ?
Do I have to change things in Seiz files ?
On the peabird site, yo can find drivers and software.

While the documentation PDF of this camera mentions Motion-JPEG, it does not reveal the exact URL
Using a browser without ActiveX (eg. FireFox) you might be able to figure out the URL for motion jpeg or jpeg images.
Add a Web Video camera in AbelCam and use the capture interface IPCamera. In the camera configuration add the URL you found.

Hi,
Perhaps information who will help to make Abelcam work with Peabird...
These links :

http://192.168.0.49/cgi-bin/sf.cgi
(they open the Video on a Macintosh Safari)
(on Opera they open a static Image, no video.)
(on Firefox they opens the Video)
(Nothing open on IExplorer)
In Abelcam, when i put these address on the URL web video, the message is : No Frame received, delay expired...
What to do ?

I found a link who works in Abelcam to show jpeg still Image :

But no news for Video !!!!
nobody knows ?

JPEG still images are fine to be used in AbelCam, just select JPEG source and not Motion JPEG source in the web video URL form.

Thanks for this answer SSE... But i bring back this camera to the shop, because the included software was not working with Windows Seven (the software included with the cam package) ...
I think i made an error purchasing Peabird product, because the Peabird website is poor with informations, the drivers and software are not for Mac or Windows Seven, the websites concerning more informations are in China, and so on... We don't find the "true" information, between references, Vilar, numbers...
I will search another small IP cam with night vision, but at this small price (85 Euros) there is not a lot of choice !
Perhaps i will choose a TrendNet. I don't know..
