Hello AbelCam'ers,
This is my layout ( I edited the layout of a fellow AbelCAM user ).
What software/abelcam version should I install on PC2 to make it work ?
Is there also a guide how to configure this situation ? Does PTZ work also on Camera 2 ?
Both cams are Logitech Quickcam Sphere AF's.

Hello Philippe
Install AbelCam on both computers (*).
Start AbelCam on PC-2 and configure the Orbit.
Start AbelCam on PC-1 and configure AbelCam on PC-2 as IP PTZ camera.
You will be able to view and control the Orbit on PC-2 through PC-1 as if it was connected to PC-1 directly.
For a permanent setup with both Orbits on 24/7 you will need to purchase
- a AbelCam Pro license for PC-2
- a AbelCam Pro license for PC-1
- a Camera License for PC-1 to run the 2nd camera
(*) make sure you're not using the same license key on PC-1 and PC-2 or you will run into licensing problems.

Hi,
Seems I have video from pc2 on pc 1 :-) !
Regarding the configuration, do I configure everything on PC1 ?
I have the PTZ working but when I use the webinterface via de PC1 webserver, it 'automatically' zooms in... When clicking in the box to set the zoom back to 1, it stays zoomed in. Is this a bug ? Or did I misconfigure something ?

Before you do anything else make sure you have the very latest AbelCam (release date 2011-08-26) installed on both machines. There is a recent change that affects the way IP PTZ works. Get it here:
http://www.abelcam.com/en/membersonly/latest_html
On PC-1, in the configuration for your cam that comes from PC-2, in zoom settings, "Use Driver Zoom" should be checked ON. This checkbox is found in Capture Device -> Zoom, not IP IPT -> Zoom.
On PC-2 "Use Drive Zoom" can be on or off - should not matter.
In the same zoom configs there are numbers for Maximum and Minimum. Check on both PCs = Maximum should be 2, minimum 1.
I'm 99.9% sure there is no bug because I use this setup all the time (my site is the one you got the diagram from).

Trying again now at about 07:00 Belgium time. Still can not access.
Can someone in Europe help him out? I'm west coast USA so the time difference is a problem. Also, testing from here is not so good because at this distance all cams in Europe - even when working properly - tend to be slow for me.

I got rather busy and didn't get to try again until now, I still get timeouts connecting to "flupcam.dyndns.tv".
Still hoping somebody closer to you can get involved...
