It would be handy if the min - max values for zoom could be specified with 1 digit after the decimal point.
For example : min = 1.0 max 1.4
It would also be a nice feature if the programs remembers the last camera position. So when you restart the program the camera moves to to position it was when it was at last shutdown.

This should be possible. You might have to use , instead of .
This depends on your country settings

I'll consider it in a future release
If somebody else would like to see that as well, join in and a a line here.

I agrre it would be a nice add in if the camera would start up in last position. Mine seems to default to the top left when the program restarts.

If I use , or . it disgards this character and the result is when I type 1,4 or 1.4 ==> 14
Giving me a max of 14 (fourteen) instead of 1.4
Stefan, could you please check for me if a decimal point or comma works at your place?
Thank you

ok, bug :-(
you might get around it by changing values in config.txt manually.
This will be looked at for the next release - Thank you

Don't worry, I don't mind bugs as long as they are fixed

PS.
Your workaround (manualy adjust the level in config.txt) works fine.
Thanks

I like the Idea at startup of a pre-defined camera position.

Actually! An option (check box) that will return to pre-defined camera position after x time of camera movement inactivity.
This way you can define where camera home is. People can move the camera around on your web page and after a few minutes (user defined time) the camera returns to home. (instead of pointed at a windowsill) :-)
This will be very helpful in cases such as mine where I have motion detection running 24x7. There really is no motion on the windowsill.
RaW, thanks for the direction on this one....

Dennis,
Good addition to my orignal idea. I also like to have a pre-set home position and the idea off automatically resetting the camera to that position after a certain time is very good.
Stefan I hope you can do sometime with this idea.

The timer is not there yet, but at least you can define a startup position
in Version 1.5.7
