I have reinstalled the drivers a million times and the pan and tilt option still fails on me. It takes forever to pan up and down - about 30 seconds after i press the button on screen. Can you please help me out here, im totally stuck and im getting very frustrated.

I just tested a brand new Logitech Sphere MP on a Windows XP Pro with .NET 2.0 only.

Tilt/pan/zoom did not work.

After installing .NET 1.1 the application works fine.

If you continue to have problems, please provide more information

still no luck =S

Ive got the logitech sphere only - not the MP version. I installed .NET 1.1 but it still is very slow in tilting and panning.

could it be the usb port - i cant seem to get drivers to update my usb. the system claims that it is currently usb 2.0 but i highly doubt that.

thanks

I wonder if you have tried locating manufacturer specific usb drivers for your system. I have a HP that required custom drivers and not standard out of the box from windows drivers. When run with standard windows usb drivers instead of the custom drivers the port acts like usb 1.1 instead of 2.0.

Although I've run the logisphere software on several of my computers and never seen the problem you seeing.

Good luck

I had to use the older drivers "8.4.8 bulid 1034A." As the newer one "9.5.0" Won't recognize my sphere.
Might Help

As far as I know (and I don't know very far), the driver version 9.5.0 is for the Orbit MP only, not the regular Orbit.

The Logitech Download page leads you to the 9.5.0 driver when chosing the Orbit MP

Hi RomanO,

Can you provide some more information please? It would help to know:

- What version of LogiSphere do you have?

- What version of Logitech drivers do you have?

- Is your .NET Framework the very latest from Microsoft?

- Is the TPZ failing only with LogiSphere? Does it work okay using the Logitech programs (like QuickCam Assistant)?

I see that since 21 August Logitech is providing driver version "10.0.0" on their download site. I tried the 10.0.0 driver last week and it caused problems for me. I went back to using 9.5.0.

Hi, MelvinG,

I tried logisphere 1.6 pro, then Logisphere NG, always the same problem. Shure i have installed the driver 10.0.0 build 1439.
.NET Framework ist the last version.

The TPZ in Logitech software works fine.

Where can i get logitech driver 9.5.0. I can´t find a download for a older driver?

Is the driver 9.5.0 for the Sphere MP? Or only for the Orbit?

I found the driver qc848deu.exe (At Hardwaresetup File lvuvcflt.sys was not found...) Installation failed!

Then i tried the driver qc950deu.exe ( Cam was known as Standard USB Cam. PTZ is not available! Only Zoom works now.

Maybe the problem ist the driver 10.0.0.

Can anybody send me a working driver??

thx

Roman
