Those are looking really good. Maybe after the installer has finshed it could show links to the Tutorials.

this doesn't show you how to add a mpeg4 or h.264 camera using RTSP stream. the configuration looks fairly strait forward, I know and understand the parameters, and I can input it into VLC with instant results, yet I cannot get this software to connect and retrieve and image, and it usually ends up locking up...

Sorry - no support for mpeg4 or h.264 yet.
You need to use JPEG or motion JPEG.
