To be safe you may wish to leave the Ajax code alone. It would be a good idea to backup the web root folder before you start  .

That would be a good area to start I think, take that out and put in your own stuff. |

Hello Jeff
in order to avoid problems when upgrading to a newer release, the following procedure is recommended:
- copy the entire wwwroot folder to a different location
- change the AbelCam / Web configuration to point to the new location (Data Dir)
- edit as you please
Having your own wwwroot folder brings two advantages:
- you have the original version to compare with when something goes wrong
- when you install a new version, your own modified files won't be overwritten
- when you install a new version, you can try the new html files with just pointing back Data Dir to the original location
