the list of compatible cameras has more than 2900 entries, not just 40+
There are just too many devices for us to test them all.
That's why Members can comment on cameras - but only few entries have been made.

If you want to ask another Member about their experiences with a capture device, you can see who is using it and ask them.

The reason why a camera works better with TyCapture, VisioForge or (rarely) VideoCapX is the driver.
As the manufacturers don't share information about driver implementation details is not possible to make recommendations.

The general information about the different Capture Interfaces can be a guide line. The default capture interface is TyCapture as it's very effective.
