I have purchased a Logitech C270 because the specs seemed fine compared to the price.
Then I run straight into driver hell.
That system (Windows 7 64bit) had drivers for both Logitech Orbit AF and the
QuickCam Pro for Notebooks (M/N: V-UBV49) installed and both were working fine.
Installed the C270 driver which told me it will 'upgrade' the existing logitech driver.
After that installation, none of the three cameras were working, and up to now (at some point I gave up)
I have not managed to get the Orbit and the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks back into working condition.
Logitech support confirmed that you can't run the C270 alongside the Logitech Orbit.
So if you want an extra high resolution camera next to your Logitech Orbit, you have to go for the
Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 which comes with drivers that play well with an existing Orbit driver
(not tested on the same system though, these are running on a Vista 32bit computer).
Of course those incompatibilities are not listed on the package nor on the website - Logitech forces us
(and their support) to waste time to figure out what works and what breaks current configurations...
