[+/-] IP wireless webcam TRENDnet model TV-IP851WIC Hello, I need to configure this TRENDnet webcam model TV-IP851WIC but it doesn't work. Is there anyone who uses this webcam, or similar TRENnet webca .. What's the problem: can't get video? Or video okay but no PTZ? I have used a similar (older) TrendNET cam (TV-IP410 I think) and could probably dig up.. Okay, rather than wait for your response I went and looked up the info for my TV-IP410. I can't guarantee this will work for your cam, but my 410 seem.. Thanks, but doesn't work. I receive the following error: "Error in get_picture: Errore del server remoto: (404) Non trovato." "Error in get_picture.. I looked around the Internet a bit. Seems like Trendnet uses a different video URL for just about every model. :-/ The people over at Zoneminder have .. The problem I see here is that AbelCam does not support H.264 streams at this time. .. Wow, that's indeed a good remark ! @ sse, is H.264 support planned in the future ?.. Yes, planned - but no release date for that feature yet. Probably the camera can deliver simple JPEGs as well - which will work for AbelCam.. A friend and I will order 8 of them and also 2 of their speeddomes with 10x optical zoom . I will post my results regarding image quality and fps... [+/-] Maximum Lenth of usb cable cam-usbport iÂ´m using a labtec 5500 usb cam with comes with 1 meter usb cable. itÂ´s a very simple camera, no features exept microphone build in. the cable is to .. "Official" maximum length is 5 meters. With Logitech cameras I start having intermittent problems if I use more than about 2 meters. Logitech cams hav.. The best please I have found for cables is Monoprice.com I'm currently using a 32 foot USB extender that Monoprice sells for $8.46.. Just to see how far this would work... I went to a 49 foot Monoprice repeater, then added a 10 foot cable, followed by the 6 foot cord to the camera. .. Just out of curiosity, what sort of cam do you have out on the end of that 60+ feet of cable? The ultimate test of a USB extender is to put an Orbit .. you may use as many active(!) extenders as u need - but think about the limitation to 500mA on your USB port! .. No problem thus far.
