Newbie
I'v entered the UTRL http://192.168.1.239:81/index1.htme into the Web Video URL box.

Entered admin and no password as per login with login to above URL.

Can't get a pictue with either JPEG or MJPEG.

What have I missed?

Will this camera work with AbelCam?
Cheers

I'm not sure of the exact URL you need to use for that camera. But I can guarantee that "/index.htme" or "index.anything" is not right. It's going to be something that ends in .jpg or .jpeg or .mjpg or maybe .cgi Look around the web to see if somebody else has already discovered the right URL - or maybe it's even listed in the camera's docs. I'm super busy today so I'm leaving it up to you to do the work Wink but if you can't find it in a reasonable amount of time post again and I'll check into it more over the weekend.

Oh, also this: if you know a little about how to read HTML and JavaScript code you can always View Document Source of the camera's "view video" web page. The URL for the stream will be in there somewhere. That's usually what I have to do to sort out a new camera.

Thanks for replying MelvinG

I 've had a look at the web page
source code but I know nothing about HTML or Java.

I found a line including - script src="public.js but this means nothing to me.

I've copied the code into Word and searched for each of the "endings" you suggested but to no avail.
I'm off back to the TENVIS site to search further.

Cheer

Hmmm. I finally got some free time (I've been in the midst of moving house for what feels like eternity) and Googled a bit about your camera. I did not find a direct answer to the question: "where is the stream and what is it called?". But I did notice that your Tenvis cam looks exactly like a Foscam 8908 or 8918. I'd guess they are the same product, just badged different and maybe with different firmware.

So... try treating it like it's a Foscam. If it's truly identical you will find the stream at: http://192.168.1.239:81/videostream.cgi It will be an MJPEG stream. Note that this URL assumes the IP address and port you named in your original post are correct.
