AbelCam has been working great for me.
The only time I ever reboot on the webcam PC is when MS sends down an update patch.
I think a big problem with some other webcam software is memory leaks. You seem to have those plugged.

The pro version is definitely worth the 20 Euros

Buttons

Menu Select Camera Zoom In Zoom In Zoom In Zoom In
Move Left Move Left Home Pan/Tilt
home position 		Move Right Move Right
Select Server back to Start Move Down Move Down Zoom Out Zoom Out

Only buttons that can be used are shown.

If a camera does not have zoom, the zoom buttons won't show.
If a camera does not have pan/tilt, the move buttons won't show.
