Orbit MP PT Not working [solved]
Just recently installed the latest verison of Abelcam (4.2.8) along with Logitech's Quickcam 10.5
While running Abelcam , it does not respond to P ..
What resolution are you using?
At some point (resolution), the driver refuses to accept PT commands - try a lower resolution.
If that does not help, ..
Thank you , that was the issue! Had the Input size set at 960x720 dropped it down to 864x480 and how it works perfectly..

Sorry - no support for mpeg4 or h.264 yet.
You need to use JPEG or motion JPEG...

Newbe - Trying to add Multi Channel Digital Receiver
I have a Uniden UDW10003 that is using a driver called "Digital Wireless Camera" The device supports 4 cameras, I am able to get the 1st camera to fun ..
If the capture device driver does not expose four cameras to the windows system (all of them visible in the device manager),
there's no way for AbelC..
How do I set up "Scan"

I retract the question of how do you scan,
you were referring to the scan feature on the uniden device (I get a little slow with age)...

Password Protection
I'd like to password protect the replay page.
Using the built in options it seems I can only password protect the entire site, and not by page. Any id ..

Remote viewing of recorded video clips

Is there any provision for remote viewing of recorded videos similar to what you can do recorded images? Id ..

If you want a video gallery with thumbnail images, that's going to be tricky to accomplish. I've never tried it myself but obviously extracting a thum..

For the time being, I've just put up a page that will list any files that get added to the video storage location. I can then use IE and click to view..

AbelCam is very fleible, the more I use it the more I like it.
I wonder if there is one operating system it works better on than others.

No, 64bit won't make a big difference - only more memory available to processes.
There is no clear preference.
I guess it depends more on the camera..

I setup the FTP plugin, saved it and it works fine.
However whenever I close AbelCam and then restart it the FTP plugin is not active.

Motion Detection - Trigger Value
I'm having difficulty getting MD to work properly. I get false alarms if the sensitivity is raised, but no alarms when it's too low even though it sho ..
While the trigger range was not documented it's easy to find out.
