Unable to activate new licence

I have upgraded AbelCam to ver. 2.2.3 and can not get the license aktivation to work.
I have tried to follow the procedure:
To activate License, proceed as follows:
> - start AbelCam and change to the Web settings
> - click on 'User and License' - enter Name and License Code as listed for Program License
> - click 'OK' for the Program License
> - stop and restart AbelCam
> - change to the Web settings and verify at the
> right bottom of the form that your licenses
> have been listed correctly.
It do not work for me.
I have tested several variants to do it.
Without any saving ('OK' and stop - restart).
Save in the Web window and restart.
Save Configuration in the Main window and restart.
Save in the Web window and Save Configuration in the main window and restart.
Without success. When I restart the program I have no license.
I need help!

i tried to install my lic on a new Abelcam software on a fresh OS (win2003) but cannot get my lic to work ANY IDEAS ?

I seem to be having similar problems. When I started my v3.2.2 I got a popup "lifetime of this version has ended. Please download the latest version." I did, and I got the message again. I tried a full uninstall and deleted the appdata folder. There's no way I can get into the program at all, never mind trying to check a log or send any configurations.
Then I tried an uninstall and tried the Beta (which sounds very exciting, btw), but no luck. I uninstalled a second time and now I've left off with the v3.2.3
When I highlight my Abelcam entry in the add/remove windows dialog I get the version showing as up to date.

Are you saying that the Beta gives you the "lifetime has ended" message too?
If so, I wonder if your computer's date could be off by like a whole year or something. Yeah, probably a dumb idea but it's all I've got at the moment...

you seem to have some version mixup. It starts with the 1st version you had installed - Version 3.2.2 is not at the end of it's life time, probably you had a 2.x.x version installed.
I suggest you (re)install the latest beta release. If you don't get it to run, execute a repair install.
The latest versions come with a Support Tool which allows you to collect information and submit a support request even if AbelCam does not run. |
