I currently do not have a webcam yet, but the program does everything I would want it to do. It has passwords, which I like, it does streaming. I really am intrigued by this product and look forward to using it with my first webcam

- As I have !AbelCam to run as a service, I have to stop it first and make sure it will run visible after installation

- - first I have a look for the most recent version. Beta Versions can be found in the "Issues":/en/membersonly/issues<br>

- - After downloading the latest version to my c:\downloads folder, I<br>

- - stop the !AbelCam Service ( Start, Run, services.msc, mark line !AbelService, click the square (stop) symbol<br>

- - double click the installer (!AbelCam...msi)<br>

- - ok, continue, upgrade to next version and so on until new version is installed (no need to remove previous)<br>

- - Start / Programs / !AbelCam / Tools / Install !AbelCam Service

- this one some times triggers some more MSI installer activity, so to make sure everything is as expected I run this once<br>

you may use the menu entry **Check for AbelCam Updates** to use the Update Agent or do a manual update as follows:

- Download the latest version to your harddisk<br>
- double click the installer (!AbelCamSetup.exe)<br>
- Install as seen in this "Tutorial":/en/documentation/tutorial/install-abelcam_html<br>
